Firefighters Involved in Jl. Yos Sudarso Sidewalk Cleaning

One fire truck unit deployed by North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. to help cleaning sidewalk and channels along Jl. Yos Sudarso, Kelapa gading, Thursday (8/2).

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Head, Manson Sinaga stated, joint personnel from Gulkarmat, Environment Sub-dept., North Jakarta Satpol PP, and Kelapa Gading Barat PPSU were also deployed to clean the area.

Welcoming Asian Games, 13 Roads on Pegangsaan Dua Arranged

According to him, this cleaning was held to prepare Asian Games Torch Relay 2018 that will pass Jl. Yos Sudarso on next Wednesday (8/16).

"We need to clean this road since Asian Games Torch Relay participants will pass the area. We spray sidewalk, channel, and park using fire truck," he said, Thursday (8/2).

He explained, cleaning was done on sidewalk and 500 meters water channel from Plumpang to Mol.

"We will clean it routinely and spray it when needed," he informed.
